Will I have to give up chopped tomatoes?
A question that I get asked a lot is ‘will I have to give up ‘X’ if I start personal training to lose body fat?’
Some of the specific things that X has been include…
- Chocolate
- Alcohol
- Rice
- Pick and mix
- Ice cream
- Biscuits
And by far the most random one…..chopped tomatoes!
Let me be VERY clear on this
I will never ask you to give up a food that you love and enjoy
We might have to look at the volume of that food in relation to the rest of your nutrition, and make a few tweaks….but I am not in the business of taking away things that you want to eat
There is ALWAYS a way to include food that you enjoy, I call them soul foods
My current soul foods are kit kats and cornettos
You can 100% lose body fat whilst still eating all of the above foods
The only reason to eliminate a food from your nutritional repertoire is if you are allergic or sensitive to it (eg bloating, super gassy, sick, diarrhoea or brain fog)
If this is the case, you might need to work with a dietician who is qualified to advise you such matters
